Je čas/It´s time

Published on by petruska

Pane profesore, je čas. Za dvě minuty bude zvonit...
Hehé. Ba né. Dnes je čas na báseň! Je o nočním Dublinu, ale jelikož nemám patřičnou fotografii, přikládám noční Cherbourg.

Mister Professor, it´s time. In will fing in two minutes... (A little extract from my most favourite czech movie).
Hehé. No. Today it´s time for a poem! It´s about night´s Dublin, but because i don´t have beseeming picture, i´m inclosing nightly Cherbourg.

O nočním Dublinu

Veselí lidé,

poletující listí,

malý pán v dlouhém kabátě s lenonkami.

Zmačkané kelímky a sáčky od Supermac´su.

Zívající Ind v zavírajícím Sparu.

Světla.

Spire.

Blikající neonový nápis B&B.

Řvoucí opilé slečny v lodičkách,

klidná Liffey plná odrážejících se světel.

Klaksony.

About Dublin at night

Lively people,

flitting leafs,

a little man in a long coat with Lennon´s glasses.

Creasy pots and bags from Supermac´s.

Yawning Indian guy inside the closing Spar.

Lights.

Spire.

Flashing neon sign B&B.

Yelling drunk girls in court shoes,

still Liffey full of reflecting lights.

Horns.

Cabs rushing vainly the last travellers.

No more stimulations,

a lot of dreams...

Smoky stack of some factory afar.

White seagulls above the black,

dead river.

Have you ever noticed that during the day it´s full of whirls and during the night it sleeps?
